Why I Created the CHOICE Framework
One of the things I hear most often from couples and families is:
“We want a ceremony that feels like us, but we’re not quite sure where to start.”
Whether I’m creating a wedding ceremony, naming ceremony or celebration of life, every family is different. That’s why I developed the CHOICE Framework, a simple approach that helps me understand what’s important to you and create a ceremony that’s personal, meaningful and memorable.
The CHOICE Framework isn’t a checklist or a formula. It’s simply a way of guiding our conversations so I can get to know the people at the heart of the ceremony, understand what matters most, and create a celebration that genuinely reflects who you are.
C is for Connection
Every great ceremony starts with connection.
I take time to get to know you, your story and the people who matter most in your life. Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, welcoming a child or honouring a loved one, your relationships are at the heart of the ceremony.
H is for Heart
This is where we explore what matters most.
How would you like people to feel? What values, memories or traditions would you like reflected in the ceremony? Understanding the heart of your celebration helps me create something meaningful and authentic.
O is for Options
One of the reasons people choose a celebrant-led ceremony is freedom.
Together, we’ll explore the many ways your ceremony can be personalised, from readings and rituals to vows, promises and symbolic moments.
I is for Inclusion
Ceremonies are rarely about just one or two people.
We can find meaningful ways to involve children, family members, friends, guide parents or anyone who holds a special place in your life.
C is for Celebration
Every ceremony should feel like a celebration of life, love and connection.
Whether you’d like something joyful, relaxed, reflective or full of laughter, we’ll create an atmosphere that’s right for you.
E is for Every Detail
Once we’ve explored all the important elements, I’ll carefully bring everything together.
From the first conversation to the day itself, my aim is to make the process enjoyable, organised and stress-free.

As a member of The Association of Independent Celebrants and fully trained by the International College of Professional Celebrants, I create and deliver beautiful, bespoke and heartfelt ceremonies of your choice to mark life’s key milestones. From weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies to unity rituals and funerals. I am calm, kind, inclusive and caring. I will go out of my way to help make sure your special day runs smoothly and is everything you could wish it to be. I can help you write your personalised wedding vows, your commitments to your child or your own eulogy. I am happy to work indoors or outdoors, large and lavish or small and intimate, fun and quirky or romantic and traditional, religious or non-religious.
